Permit
checklist in eight questions.
Answer eight questions about location, noise protection and site access. You receive a green, yellow, orange or red risk level with expected duration, costs and a list of required expert reports.
info Important note
This checklist does not replace building-law advice, but it shows the typical stumbling blocks that can make a building application fail.
Whether and how a padel court can be permitted depends on the specific site, state building law, zoning plan, use and noise situation.
Legal framework includes 18. BImSchV and state building law. View sources and limits.
What the four risk levels mean.
We aggregate eight factors into one score. The colour tells you how much lead time and reserve you need.
Standard process
Special sports zone or commercial area, > 120 m from housing, clear parking, positive preliminary inquiry. 8-14 weeks, €12,000-28,000.
Increased care
Mixed-use area or < 120 m residential proximity. Noise report, possibly 4 m noise barrier. 12-20 weeks, €20,000-45,000.
Permit-intensive
Residential area WA / indoor without fire safety / site servicing upgrade. 18-28 weeks, €35,000-70,000.
High-risk setup
Outdoor area + very close residential neighbours + complete new site servicing. 24-40+ weeks, €55,000-120,000.
Risk + space + economics: the trio.
Together, permits, space and economics create the full picture. A high score alone does not have to be a stop sign, but it belongs in the business plan.
